Customer Support Engineer IPT - IP Connectivity

Candidate must have more experience on IP backbone, MPLS, Routing, etc.

IP Operation & Maintenance engineer for the IP Network of the One HLR Network.

  • Daily or regular operation & maintenance (such as preventative maintenance works.
  • Ensures seamless resolution of servie requests from the customer.
  • On site escalation support for technical issues. Assist NOC Team leader in his duties as required.
  • Work with other vendor's staff on site & 3rd parties to proivde problem resolution.
  • Produce reports for customer & management on SLA performance and KPI's .
  • Monitor status of all open ticket & ensure these are progressed appropriately.
  • Manager/ resolve customer raised problems within the defined SLA boundaries.
  • Provide technical work around to customer problems.

Technical Requirements:

  • IP Equipment expertise such as CISCO/ JUNIPER for.
  • At least working experience with Installation, Commisisoning, Operation & Maintenance if telecom IP network.

General Technical Requriement:

Strong IP Networking experience skills

  • Knowledge of Sun hardware. Knwledge of X500 directories/ databases.
  • Knwoledge of LDAP and DAP. Knowledge of Sun Solaris operating system to at least System Administration level.
